F&B
"A HOTEL IS THE PEOPLE WHO WORK IN IT." The walls and interior design are not behind the hotel's success. A hotel is the people who work in it. According to this principle, F&B departments at Focus Hotels operate according to an efficient system of recruitment, training, information flow and motivational tools. We work using a staff check-in system, end-of-day reports and operational meetings. Our priority is that every piece of information, even the smallest, is passed on between departments, both to managers and regular employees. Thanks to this, the needs and wishes of our guests are recognized and satisfied.
"EVERY EMPLOYEE SEES THE POSSIBILITY OF PROMOTION AHEAD." We have created recruitment forms according to which candidates' skills, knowledge, knowledge of foreign languages and experience are checked. Each new employee receives a training list that consists of several dozen points. According to it, for two weeks he acquires knowledge about working in a restaurant and bar, in the meantime having daily 15-minute sessions with his trainer - a senior waiter. Additional sources of information include a script with standard operating procedures and shift opening and closing checklists. Permanent staff have the opportunity to acquire new information thanks to short weekly training courses. They are organized according to the principle: one employee - once a week - fifteen minutes.
Thanks to the employment hierarchy, each employee sees opportunities for development and promotion. Professional training allows you to expand your confidence, and monthly sales competitions provide additional motivation.
